Salut occitania. Amon Amarth fait partie du mouvement Viking métal mais se retrouve aussi parfois citée dans la catégorie Death métal mélodique. Formé en 1992 en Suède, le nom du groupe signifie "Montagne du Destin".

La voix du chanteur (Johan Hegg) est naturellement très puissante. C'est un colosse aux caractéristiques physiques d'un véritable viking. C'est probablement une des voix gutturales que je préfère. Ils ont produit quelques bonnes chansons dont "As loke falls".

Wiki vient de m'informer que Judas Priest est un groupe de heavy metal traditionnel britannique fondé en 1968 !!! Incroyable quand même. Je ne savais pas que la naissance du groupe remontait à si loin.

J'ai découvert Judas Priest et commencé à en écouter en boucle avec les sorties des albums Painkiller (1991) et Jugulator (1997). Ces deux albums m'ont ramené en arrière et j'ai découvert par la suite l'album Defenders_of_the_Faith (1984) dont la chanson "Some Heads Are Gonna Roll" est le 7e titre.

Voici du Judast Priest avec le chanteur fils Tim "Ripper" Owens. La chanson "Burn in Hell" est 6e titre de l'album Jugulator paru en 1997.
